PhD Student – Young Researcher

Neža Hren obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degree at the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana, at the Department of Food Science. She participated in various projects, including the NUTRICARE study: Dietary challenges in the population of nursing home residents and Collection of data on available pre-packed foods on the market in Slovenia, using the Composition and Labeling Information System (CLAS). She is currently employed as a PhD candidate and is involved in the NutriFem project: Challenges in achieving an adequate nutritional status for women of reproductive age.
